The Canadian Balloon Association (CBA) is a not-for-profit association dedicated to promoting all aspects of ballooning in Canada.

We are the voice for balloonists in Canada with regard to regulatory matters and policies as well as the official Canadian representatative to the Federation Aeronatique International in all aspects of international competition.

We invite and encourage people from all walks of life to become involved in sport and recreational hot air and gas ballooning. Anyone and everyone can become involved through the following:

• Clubs and other ballooning associations affiliated with the CBA
• Ongoing CBA training and safety programs – for ground crew, pilots and competition personnel
• Pilot training and licensing
• Ground crew training
• Balloon event/competition organization

We welcome anyone and everyone to get involved in ballooning of all types. Its a great way to meet new people, enjoy the outdoors and have a lot of fun!
